Premier League
Wolves vs Liverpool prediction

Midtable Liverpool face a potentially tricky trip to Molineux on Saturday against a Wolverhampton Wanderers side who have started to turn their form around under Julen Lopetegui.
The West Midlands club have taken seven points from their five games under the former Real Madrid and Spain manager, with the only two defeats coming against Manchester City and Manchester United. Wolves had taken just one point in their final five games under caretaker manager Steve Davis.
Prior to losing 3-0 at title-chasing Manchester City, Lopetegui’s side hadn’t conceded more than a single goal in a game, whilst scoring in three out of four. They look well on their way to avoiding relegation now.
Meanwhile, it’s been a tough season for a Liverpool side who were expected to finish the season in the top 4. They sit ninth heading into the weekend with just one point in their last three. They have been beaten comprehensively in each of their last two Premier League away games as well – 1-3 at Brentford and 0-3 at Brighton & Hove Albion.
I am surprised to see Liverpool are odds on for this match and see it as a great opportunity to back against them. Wolves have tightened up defensively whilst this weekend’s visitors have only scored one goal in their last three. Daniel Podence has scored three in his last four for Wolves as the Portuguese forward is really starting to fulfil the expectations many had for him when he arrived in England from Olympiacos in 2020.
The value is on the home side in this one. I think Wolves will avoid defeat and even have a chance of winning.
