Scotland vs Morocco World Cup 2026 prediction

Scotland will be heading to Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots, in a good mood, having won their first World Cup game in 36 years when they beat Haiti 1-0 on Saturday.
Steve Clarke’s side relied on a deflected John McGinn effort to beat the minnows, but are close to progressing out of the group stage of a World Cup for the first time in their history as a result.
Morocco started their 2026 campaign with a 1-1 draw against Brazil nearby in New Jersey. The North African side are expected to go far in this summer’s tournament having reached the semi-finals 4.5 years ago. Three points against either Scotland or Haiti will be enough, but a draw with Brazil will give them confidence in winning Group C.
With the likes of Brahim Díaz, Neil El Aynaoui, Ismael Saibari and Achraf Hakimi, I expect Morocco to win this one comfortably. Defensively, Ayyoub Bouaddi was busy against Brazil in front of the defence, as were Bilal El Khannouss and Noussair Mazraoui.
Scotland will play a defensive game knowing a point will almost-certainly qualify them for the knockouts if their three points isn’t enough already. Set pieces may be their best attacking threat as they do lack much creativity going forward.
Best bet: Morocco to win is 8/13 with Bet365
Value bet: Morocco to win -1.5 is 13/8 with Bet365
