Brazil vs Haiti World Cup 2026 prediction

HINT: Brazil HT -1.5 ODDS: 5/4 20 JUN @ 01:30

Brazil will be looking to get their 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign up and running with three points versus Haiti on Friday night after they were held 1-1 by Morocco in their opener.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side weren’t too impressive versus the World Cup semi-finalists from 4.5 years ago, but came from behind to earn a point thanks to Vinicius Jr’s goal after half an hour. They’re more than capable of producing a comfortable victory in their second outing.

Haiti were only beaten 0-1 by a deflected goal in their opener versus Scotland and actually had more efforts on goal than their European opponents – 15 to 9. However, this will be a huge step up in quality for the country playing in their second-ever World Cup and looking for their first-ever point.

I expect Ancelotti to stick with his strongest XI for this one and go for the jugular before considering giving some players a rset for their final group game versus Scotland. However, they’re likely to need all six points and a strong goal difference from their final two games as Morocco will also be expected to win both of their games comfortably too.

It will be interesting to see if Igor Thiago remains up front for the record World Cup winners after a disappointing performance in their opener. And whether Neymar will be good to go and given his opportunity. Ultimately though, there’s simply too much quality in this Brazil side. I expect them to get off to a quick start, a big lead and rest players in the final 20-30 minutes.
