Spurs vs Everton prediction

HINT: Spurs ODDS: 1/2 15 OCT @ 17:30

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking for three more points in their early 2022-23 Premier League title challenge when they host Everton on Saturday evening.

Antonio Conte’s side bounced back from their North London derby loss to win 1-0 at Brighton & Hove Albion last week, making it six wins from nine league games this season.

Everton started the season without a win from their opening six Premier League games, but did draw four of those. However, only the 0-0 at home to Liverpool was against an opponent that their fans wouldn’t have been expecting all three points from.

An under pressure Frank Lampard then guided the Toffees to back-to-back victories over West Ham United and Southampton, before suffering their first defeat in six at home to Manchester United last Sunday.

Spurs will provide a whole different challenge to what Everton have mostly started the season with, and I can’t help but picture Conte getting the better of Lampard tactically in this one.

Dejan Kulusevski is a doubyt for the hosts, which would be a huge loss, as is Richarlison, in what otherwise would be his first opportunity to face his former club. Emerson Royal is suspended.

The visitors will be without the suspended Anthony Gordon, meaning Neal Maupay will likely start up front. Ben Godfrey and Andros Townsend are ruled out through injury.

Everton’s form has been heavily reliant on facing bottom half teams and I am confident Tottenham will pick up three points Saturday evening.

Best bet: Tottenham to win is 1/2
