Sheff Utd vs Everton prediction

Everton will be looking to make it four Premier League wins on the bounce when they travel to Bramall Lane on Boxing Day.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side have been very impressive this month – beating Chelsea 1-0, winning 2-0 at Leicester City and then beating Arsenal 2-1 at Goodison Park before Christmas, to move them up into fourth.

Victory for the Toffees would really help with their Champions League qualification ambitions, prior to hosting West Ham United on New Year’s Day.

Meanwhile, survival is looking bleak for Sheffield United, and fans may already be concerned about breaking Derby County’s record low points tally from 2007-08. The Blades double their points after 14 games with a 1-1 draw away to Brighton & Hove Albion before Christmas, so you could say they’re heading into this home game versus Everton in the best form they’ve had all season.

Everton have beaten some good teams this season and although their victories of late have been by the odd goal, they have faced some good sides. Sheffield United are not that and I am actually surprised the odds aren’t shorter than this. An away win all day.
