Premier League
Norwich vs Leicester prediction
Newly-promoted Norwich City can be forgiven for losing their opening two games of the season; at home to Liverpool and away to Manchester City. But this weekend’s task won’t be easy as they go in search of their first points of the 2021-22 Premier League season.
Leicester City are the visitors to Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon, looking to bounce back from their 1-4 hammering at West Ham United. The Foxes were only a goal down when Ayoze Perez was sent off in the first half so we can’t draw too many conclusions from that.
Brendan Rodgers’ side were 1-0 winners in their season opener versus Wolverhampton Wanderers and this weekend’s game is certainly the easiest of their opening three fixtures on paper.
Norwich manager Daniel Farke appears not to have learned from his previous season in the top flight as he’s playing attacking football, leaving his defence open.
That should play into the hands of Leicester who are one of the top sides on the counter-attack. The likes of Jamie Vardy, Kelechi Iheadnacho and James Maddison should fancy their chances of getting among the goals this weekend.
Leicester will be looking to compete for a top four finish this season whilst Norwich are facing a relegation battle. And whilst the visitors are odds on I still see this as good value cause there’s a wealth of difference between the two teams.
