Man Utd vs Nottingham Forest prediction

HINT: Man Utd ODDS: 4/6 7 DEC @ 17:30

Manchester United will be looking to move on from the defeat at Arsenal midweek and build on the 4-0 thrashing of Everton in Ruben Amorim’s first home game as manager last weekend.

Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee each scored a goal in each half as the Red Devils brushed aside their Merseyside opponents in what was the Portuguese manager’s second game in charge.

United were held 1-1 at Ipswich Town in the new manager’s first game in charge before looking sublime against an out-of-form Everton. They can be forgiven for losing 0-2 at high-flying Arsenal whilst the new manager continues to implement his tactics at Old Trafford.

Fans will be expecting a good performance and three points when they welcome Nottingham Forest to the Threatre of Dreams on Saturday though.

The visitors themselves were thrashed 0-3 at out-of-form Manchester City on Wednesday night; their third defeat in their last four, in which they have conceded three goals in each. The exception during that run was a narrow 1-0 win at home to Ipswich Town last weekend.

Whilst Nuno’s side made an excellent start to the season it has been a difficult past month.

Manchester United have scored 18 goals in their six home games since Erik ten Hag departed and Forest have lost their last two away games 0-3. Two set pieces were United’s undoing midweek but the early signs are that they are playing as a team under their new manager and have some structure. Amorim has made it clear that he wants his players to work both hard on and off the ball, something that wasn’t noticeable under the previous manager.

I am confident that the hosts will take the game to Nottingham Forest this weekend and take all three points too.

Best bet: Manchester United to win is 4/6 with Bet365
