Leicester vs Chelsea prediction

Leicester City start the midweek fixtures in the Champions League places and six points ahead of opponents Chelsea.

The Foxes are in good form and I find it quite surprising they are nearly 2/1 to beat a side managed by Frank Lampard.

Whilst the Blues came away from rivals Fulham with a 1-0 win on Saturday but it was less than impressive versus inexperienced manager Scott Parker.

Brendan Rodgers is doing an excellent job with Leicester and I expect him to win the tactical battle hands down in this one. And whilst the visitors to the King Power Stadium do have a wealth of talent throughout their squad, the likes of Timo Werner aren’t living up to their expectations.

I certainly don’t rate Lampard’s defences so goals are on the cards for the hosts, who have the likes of Jamie Vardy, James Maddison and Harvey Barnes in good form.
