Fulham vs Everton prediction
Everton will be hoping the international break has done them some good this time when they travel to Craven Cottage on Sunday having taken just one point from their last four games.
The Cottagers start the weekend just outside the relegation zone despite losing six of their first eight games following their promotion from the Championship last season.
Carlo Ancelotti has had a couple of players over in South America during the international break but should have enough talent throughout this squad to pick up the three points in West London this weekend, and do it comfortably too.
Fulham’s four points have come with a win over fellow strugglers West Bromwich Albion and a draw versus bottom of the league Sheffield United. Everton were top of the table a few weeks back and should have too much quality for Scott Parker’s side.
Despite their struggles over the past four games, Dominic Calvert-Lewin still managed to score twice. Don’t be surprised if the England striker gets on the scoresheet against a porous defence on Sunday. Bernard, James Rodriguez and Richarlison could be in support of the club’s top scorer, and crosses from Lucas Digne at left-back should see Calvert-Lewin get a handful of opportunities at least.
With 18 goals shipped in their first eight games I cannot see Fulham holding Everton out even if the game is directly after an international break. I wouldn’t be overly surprised if they got on the scoresheet themselves but I simply expect the visitors to outscore them regardless.
Best bet: Everton to win is 17/20 with Bet365
