Everton vs WBA prediction

Everton will look to start the 2020-21 Premier League season with two wins from two when they welcome West Bromwich Albion to Goodison Park on Saturday.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side started the season with an impressive 1-0 victory away to Tottenham Hotspur last week, which included impressive performances from Richarlison, James Rodriguez and Allan, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin scoring the winner.

The Italian boss appears to have sured up the Toffees’ defence since taking charge in December without making any new signings in the back four. However, Allan’s arrival from Napoli has been particularly important in protecting them, as he showed on his debut last week.

West Brom marked their return to the Premier League with a 0-3 hammering at home to Leicester City, with all three goals coming in the second half. It’s worth noting that two of the goals wer penalties though.

Slaven Bilic’s side didn’t create many chances at all however, which should give Jordan Pickford and co confidence in keeping a second consecutive clean sheet.

I can see Richarlison and Rodriguez causing the WBA defence a lot of problems on Saturday lunchtime and I wouldn’t be surprised if Calvert-Lewin got among the goals again either. The odds suggest a home win and I am with them all the way.
