Premier League
Arsenal vs Leeds prediction
Arsenal will be hoping they can continue where they left off before the international break by winning six consecutive in the Premier League since losing at home to Manchester City in mid-February.
Mikel Arteta’s side have opened up an eight point lead over the defending champions with just 10 games to play. And unlike their title challengers they have no European distraction for the remainder of the season having lost to Sporting Club of Portugal on penalties in the UEFA Europa League last month.
Leeds have been on a woeful run since early November, but picked up their second win since then directly before the international break with a 4-2 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux. This sees them start the weekend in 14th place, albeit just two points above the drop zone.
The Gunners do have a couple of defensive injury concerns with both William Saliba and Takehiro Tomiyasu both ruled out. And with odds of just 1.2 to win this game there is no value in backing them.
However, I see value in the goals category. Over 3.5 goals is 5/4 but both teams to score is the best value in this one.
Leeds scored four at Wolves and two at home to Brighton & Hove Albion in the game before. They have just one clean sheet in their last eight. Arsenal’s only clean sheet in their last three came versus Fulham, whilst they have conceded versus both Bournemouth and Crystal Palace during that run.
Best bet: Both teams to score is 10/11 with BetFred
