Robert Lewandowski is the obvious favourite to win the 2020-21 German Bundesliga top scorer award.
However, the Polish striker turned 32 last month and Bayern Munich do have a number of attacking players shining around him – teenager Joshua Zirkzee impressed when given his chance up front, whilst Serge Gnabry, Thomas Muller, Kingsley Coman and Leon Goretzka all enjoy getting among the goals too.
Hansi Flick’s side have also signed Leroy Sane this summer. The arrival from Manchester City may want to get his career back on track by scoring a few goals when cutting in from the left, after missing virtually all of last season through injury.
Value in the top scorer bet comes in the form of Erling Braut Haaland. The Norwegian striker was all the talk last winter before signing for Borussia Dortmund where he would go on to score 16 goals in his first 18 games.
Haaland is a lethal finisher with excellent movement and goalscoring instinct. He’s the only established striker in the squad, whilst both Mario Gotze and Andre Schurrle both departed.
The 20-year-old will be supplied by playmakers such as Jadon Sancho, Thorgan Hazard, Marco Reus and new signing Thomas Meunier.
