Man Utd vs Everton prediction

Ruben Amorim will be looking to win his first home game as Manchester United when they welcome Everton to Old Trafford on Sunday.

The Red Devils made a bright start in the Portuguese manager’s debut at Ipswich Town last weekend before drifting off and being held to a 1-1 draw.

Amorim comes with a great reputation for his performance as Sporting Club or Portugal but has had little time to work with his players so far. However, the week off and a home game should work in the new manager’s favour.

The visitors this weekend head into the game in poor form with just three points from their last four, winning none. Fans’ expectation had been much given given those fixtures were against Fulham, Southampton, West Ham United and Brentford.

Manchester United should offer a much sterner test to Sean Dyche’s side if the new manager can get the Red Devils firing on all cylinders in his home debut.

There feels like there’s a buzz around the club, as there often is when a new manager comes in, and if they take the game to the Toffees from the opening kickoff and get the fans backing them, they could potentially make this a comfortable three points.
