Arsenal vs Liverpool prediction

Arsenal will be looking to close the gap to Premier League leaders Liverpool to one point when they welcome the Reds to the Emirates on Sunday.

In order to do so the Gunners will need to perform much better than they did last weekend when they returned from the international break to suffer a surprise 0-2 loss away to Bournemouth last weekend.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have won seven of their eight Premier League games under Arne Slot following their 2-1 win at home to Chelsea a week ago. Their only blemish was a 0-1 loss at home to Nottingham Forest in mid-September.

Many are expecting an exciting, potentially end-to-end battle between two heavyweights in North London on Sunday and I am in agreement.

Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz have been on fire in attack for the Reds this season, whilst Diogo Jota also has two goals this season. And although the Reds have only conceded three goals this season, all within their last five games, Arsenal have scored 15 in their eight.

Mikel Arteta’s side’s strength is certainly going forward with Kai Havertz, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard goal threats.

This should be an entertaining game on Sunday and I’m expecting lots of goals.
