Wolves vs Man Utd prediction

HINT: Man Utd ODDS: 1.86 29 AUG @ 16:30

Manchester United will be looking for an improved performance following a disappointing 1-1 draw away to Southampton last weekend.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to hand a Premier League debut to Raphael Varane alongside Harry Maguire in central defence, whilst Jadon Sancho awaits his first start for the Red Devils after coming off the bench in their opening two games.

Bruno Fernandes made a fine start to the 2021-22 season with a hat-trick versus Leeds United in their opener, whilst Mason Greenwood has two in two. The teenager has been starting ahead of Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial, whilst Marcus Rashford remains sidelined.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have been beaten 0-1 in their first two games, by Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur. It hasn’t been an easy opening set of fixtures for Bruno Lage’s side and Sunday’s game should be no different.

Although they are yet to register a goal in their opening three hours of football this season, they have created a number of chances. Once the likes of Raul Jimenez and Fabio Silva get firing I can certainly see the West Midlands club finishing in the top half. But whether it will happen this weekend I do question.

I expect Manchester United to be too strong at Molineux with their pacey counter-attack game causing real problems for Wolves. The game is live on television for anyone who prefers in-play betting, but provided their are no major injuries between now and kickoff, I do think we’ll see Solskjaer’s side win.
