Man City vs Norwich prediction

Manchester City started the defence of their Premier League with a surprise 0-1 loss away to a Harry Kane-less Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

Newly-promoted Norwich City didn’t fair any better as they were comprehensively beaten 0-3 away to Liverpool.

Expect Pep Guardiola to get under his skin of his players before Manchester City play their first home game of the new season in a rare Saturday 15:00 kickoff for them.

Three points are already in the bag for the Citizens, it’s just a matter of how many goals they will stick past the East Anglian club.

Jack Grealish may feel he has a point to prove, whilst the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Raheem Stering and Ferran Torres will be keen to get their own seasons started with some goal involvements against a Norwich side who don’t sit back.

Daniel Farke has one style of play and that will leave the Canaries open at the back at the Etihad Stadium. A comfortable win should be on the cards for Manchester City, and although they’ve failed to score in either of their games this season (if the FA Community Shield counts), I am expecting a quick start from them in this game on their way to an comfortable victory.
