Leicester vs Brighton prediction

Brendan Rodgers will be looking for a more impressive performance from Leicester City on Sunday night than he has seen recently when Brighton & Hove Albion are the visitors to the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes’ boss played a largely strong side on Thursday night in beating AEK Athens in the Europa League, having already qualified. The 2-0 win perhaps is to hope they get back to their earlier season form domestically.

Jamie Vardy scored a stoppage time winner at lowly Sheffield United last weekend, whilst they were beaten at home by Fulham and thrashed at Liverpool prior to that.

The former England striker, supported by Cengiz Under, Harvey Barnes, James Maddison and Youri Tielemans, should have more than enough fire power to see off the Seagulls this weekend.

Brighton were beaten at home by Southampton last time out and have just two wins so far this campaign. They both did come away from home though – at Newcastle United and Aston Villa. I don’t see them being able to match up with a team starting in the top four heading into the weekend.
