Premier League
Leeds United vs Fulham prediction
Two teams promoted from the Championship last season meet each other in the top flight in only their second game of the 2020-21 Premier League season as Leeds United welcome Fulham to Elland Road on Saturday.
Of the three promoted teams last weekend, Leeds were the only one to impress, despite losing 4-3 at champions Liverpool. The Reds only conceded three or more goals in three Premier League games last season.
Leeds had three different scores – Jack Harrison, Patrick Bamford and Mateusz Klich, showing they have goalscorers from all different positions. Club record signing Rodrigo is still to be introduced in attack also.
Fulham were comfortably beaten 0-3 at home by Arsenal on the opening weekend and apart from a chance the Gunners gifted them in the opening five minutes, they created nothing. Aleksandar Mitrovic wasn’t fully fit and only came on for the final 15 minutes though.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side ended a poor run in June by thrashing Fulham 3-0 in this fixture. Based on this, the two managers and the performances of both teams on the opening weekend, it all points to a home win this Saturday.
Best bet: Leeds United to win is 3/4 with Bet365
