Premier League
Burnley vs Arsenal prediction
Arsenal finally put three points on the board this season with a 1-0 victory at home to Norwich City.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the only goal of the game midway through the second half at the Emirates. And although the result doesn’t look overly impressive against a team bottom of the Premier League table without a single point, the performance was a lot greater than the result.
The Gunners produced 30 shots on Norwich’s goal last weekend, with seven on target. At the other end, Aaron Ramsdale was forced into just one save.
It was probably relief more than anything for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal fans but with the weight lifted off their shoulders somewhat now, I am expecting another controlling performance and three points when they go to Turf Moor this weekend.
Hosts Burnley are in the relegation zone themselves with their sole point from four games coming at home to Leeds United. They have been beaten at home by Brighton & Hove Albion and were convincingly beaten 1-3 away to Everton last weekend.
Arsenal should be more than capable of breaking down the Clarets’ defence this weekend with the likes of Martin Odegaard, Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka creating chances among themselves and for striker Aubameyang.
Unfortunately the game is not televised live in the United Kingdom but I am still confident in an away win. What’s more, whilst the North London side are odds against I think it represents great value.
