Premier League
Brentford vs Wolves prediction
Wolverhampton Wanderers travel to West London on Saturday looking to build on their 10 points from the previous four versus an out-of-form Brentford side.
Bruno Lage’s side are in the best form of the season, with a 3-1 victory at home to Southampton after winning at Old Trafford. They have kept clean sheets in three of their last four, which includes a 0-0 draw with Chelsea, who had been in hot form at the time.
After an excellent start to their debut Premier League season Brentford are starting to get sucked into a relegation battle in the second half of the campaign. They head into the weekend having conceded 10 goals in their last three, including a 1-4 drubbing at Southampton and 1-3 at home by Manchester United.
Wolves had issues scoring goals earlier in the season but Raul Jimenez and Adama Traore getting on the scoresheet last weekend will be a confident boost to the individuals and the team.
Brentford are having issues keeping the goals out so don’t be surprised if Wolves are able to win this one by more than one goal too. Regardless, the odds on just winning are much greater than I was expecting. I would have thought something close to evens would have been about right.
