Arsenal vs Norwich prediction

A big six-pointer on Saturday as the Premier League’s two basement clubs battle at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal are without a point nor even a single goal through their opening three fixtures, which includes a 0-2 loss to Brentford and a 0-5 hammering at Manchester City.

Newly-promoted Norwich City, scoring just once in their three defeats.

Mikel Arteta’s side will have been hindered more by the international break in terms of more of his players travelling further distances across the world over the past fortnight.

Despite this and despite their performances so far, I do expect the Gunners to put three points on the board this Saturday. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka all have the beating of the vulnerable Norwich defence.

At the other end, whilst I am not convinced at all in Arsenal’s defence, I am not sold on the likes of Milos Rashica in the Premier League. Todd Cantwell is the standout attacker for this side, and although Teemu Pukki has great movement off the ball, I wonder how many times his teammates will be able to pick him out.

Admittedly, not great odds but I am confident the better team on paper will produce the goods this weekend.
